8 Chinese Children’s Songs (Volume 2): Songs of Home

GoGo Learning Chinese is Fun: Songs of Home is a great quality board book with bilingual (English/Chinese) text and Chinese language songs. The songs and illustrations are lovely and my 1 and 2 year olds love them. I love knowing that I am introducing them to music and cultures at a young age.Each of the 9 songs have their own button that turns on and off the songs. The volume is adjustable with the volume buttons on the top of the musical panel. There is an on and off switch on the back of the book, and the 2 AAA batteries are replaceable.

I got this for my baby, who is half Chinese, because I really want her to grow up speaking and understanding the language. This book has been such a fun way to introduce her to Chinese! She gets so excited every time GO GO’s theme song plays—it’s like she knows it’s time for something special. The bilingual format is really helpful, especially for me since I’m not fluent. The traditional Chinese characters, along with the Pinyin, and with English make it easy for me to follow along and understand what’s being taught. The songs are catchy and engaging, and they’ve made language learning feel more like playtime than anything else. I also love how interactive the sound buttons are—it’s so easy for my baby to press them, and she lights up when she hears the sounds and music. It’s become part of our daily routine, and I can already see her starting to recognize some words and sounds. It’s a small step, but it’s exciting to see her connect with her heritage in such a joyful way. This book has been a great start for her journey into learning Mandarin!

My 3-year old toddler loves pushing all the buttons to hear to lovely songs that accompany the bright pictures! Appreciate this bilingual learning experience since Chinese learning books are limited! Congratulations to Tania and the Go-Go team on a quality product that fills a gap in the educational market!

I appreciate the fact that this offers both languages for those that are trying to learn and the songs are quite catchy (one of us speaks Chinese while the other doesn't). The images are bright and it has been fun to see our kids pick up the language more.

I like having my child learn some of many different languages so when I saw this book series I had to get one of each level for my child to learn. I am so glad I did because she loves it! Very cute and fun for me too-to learn with my child as a bonus!
