Hello, I’m Tania, founder and creator of the Go Go singing sound book series!
Go Go is a smart puppy dog who wears G-shaped glasses. For me, he represents the best that every child can be. He speaks many languages, loves learning, travels the world–we can do anything.
I’m a working mother living in Boston. I got the idea for the Go Go series when I taught Chinese songs to my newborn son. I spoke 3 languages and played 3 instruments. I decided to share my love of languages and music with children by making fun singing toys for them.
I’ve been composing, drawing, and writing stories since I was a child.
I have played in Chinese orchestras since 1997. I created the Go Go characters and wrote many of our songs in Chinese and English. Sharing these passions with children is a dream come true! I was born in Taiwan and grew up trilingual. I came to the US to pursue a PhD in Literature in 2010, and taught Literature and World History at the University of California, San Diego. I was later admitted into the Speech Language Pathology Master's Program at Boston University and did speech therapy clinical training.
My biracial son is surrounded by multiple cultures and their music. Our products are inspired by my child, and children everywhere.
In my free time, I like to play the piano, the Erhu (the Chinese violin) and the Guzheng (Chinese zither). You will hear these Eastern inspirations in some of our modern classics. We stay true to the cultural influences of the languages we compose in. You may find yourself dancing to Latin beats, African music or Irish and Italian tunes when playing our songs!
Our singing books are designed to cultivate a love of reading and learning.
At Go Go Fun Learning, we work with professional musicians and child education experts to produce refreshing content for young learners. We make songs about family, animals, travel, different cultures, exotic adventures, fairy tales, and unique stories. In the past year alone, we’ve created 127 songs in three languages, and we will continue to make more. We hope you and your little one have lots of great memories playing with Go Go!
