Hello, I’m Tania, founder of Go-Go song book series! I’m a working mother living in Boston. The idea for the Go-Go song book series came when I tried to sing Chinese songs to my 7-month old son. After realizing that there were not a lot of bilingual song books for children in America, I decided to start a company that makes fun and high-quality song books. We make songs —both classic remakes and original new songs—that make learning Chinese enjoyable and effective. 

 

Originally from Taiwan, I came to the US to pursue a PhD in Literature over 10 years ago. I started playing in the Chinese orchestras and composing when I was a child in Taiwan. In my free time, I like to play the piano, the Erhu (the Chinese violin) and the Guzheng (Chinese zither). Now as a mother, I love sharing my passions for music and stories with children! I wrote many of the original songs for my baby and babies everywhere—many with grandparents who live far away. They can experience Chinese culture from these songs even when they don’t yet understand the Chinese words.

 

At Go-Go Fun Learning, we work with professional musicians and child education experts to produce refreshing content for young Chinese learners. We revitalize classic nursery rhymes with modern music and create original songs for children in America. Our songs are made with beautiful singing and catchy melodies. Many of our lyrics have mini-stories or dialogues in them. We want children, parents, and grandparents to have lots of fun with our song books. I hope that you have many beautiful memories with them!
